Troop 766 was founded in 1961 by chartering organization John Calvin Presbyterian Church. Since the Troop was chartered, the unit is proud to have helped many scouts grow into leaders of the community. Along with achieving the top rank of Eagle Scout, many of our members also belong to the Scout honor programs of Order of the Arrow and completed the National Youth Leadership Training (NYLT). The troop has monthly activities consisting of weekend tent camping, overnight hikes, day hikes, indoor adventure parks, and summer week long camping. Community service is important to the unit and has led flag retirement ceremonies, volunteer service projects, and assist with younger cub scouts. The unit follows the patrol method and meets Mondays from 6:30-8 pm at the John Calvin Presbyterian Church located in Bridgeton, Missouri.
